The town of Hamlin is plagued with rats so badly, that the Mayor decides to contact rat catcher extraordinaire, The Pied Piper. When the Piper arrives to get rid of the rats, he asks for a lot more than the Mayor and his councilors could afford. They hatch a plan so the Piper only gets a very small reward for his efforts, but they are in for a shock when they discover what a nasty man the Pied Piper really is. He plays his magic pipes so that all the town's children run off after him along with Greta the Mayors daughter. Mayor Van Rental with the help of his trio of councilors and Heidi, his housekeeper, go off in search of the villain and bring the children back to Hamlin..This pantomime is brim-full of fun and hilarity for the kids and grown-ups alike.

There are seven main cast members (5M – 2F) and several smaller parts (M & F), along with a chorus of Townsfolk and Children.
