A truly traditional British pantomime full of magic, mayhem and corny jokes. Penniless Dick Whittington leaves Gloucester to seek his fortune in London and meets a cat along the way. He is taken on by Alderman Fitzwarren where he falls in love with Alice, the Alderman's daughter and then is wrongly accused of theft. Dick's adventures take him from London to Morocco, where along the way he battles rats and survives a shipwreck. As well as a rousing chorus of Londoners and sailors, we also meet the incomparable villains, Frankie Binatra and his Rat Pack, whilst fairy Bow Bella endeavours to keep Dick safe. Other characters include Sherry Trifle, the Alderman's cook; her lazy son Idle Jack; the ship's French Captain, Rock Eel; and first mate Chips. This pantomime is brim-full of fun and humour for the kids and grown-ups alike.
There are seven main cast members (5M – 2F) and several smaller parts (M & F), along with a chorus of Townsfolk and Children.
